I joined 365 Project (A Photo A Day Challenge) more than a year ago, but I only uploaded 2 photos before today. I am trying to take this challenge this year, and take a photo a day.
This is the photo I took today. We attended the flag raising ceremony (which is the school opening ceremony) at a Taiwan International School this morning.
We woke up quite early today, and we spent our whole after taking a nap, except my two elder children. So, we don't do anything special on new year as usual.
How did you celebrate your new year?

We celebrated the new year at the temple. The moment the clock struck midnight, we kneeled and prayed for peace, love, health, and abundance.

@toniganzon I think it's good to have your own family tradition, though we don't really have one for ours.

@kaka135 It's not a cultural tradition here. It's just what we chose to do on new year's eve.

Sounds like it was a good flag raising ceremony. May the spirit of the season of New year fill your heart with serenity and peace. Wish you a happy new year!

Thanks! I am trying hard to do the challenge, but I haven't keep it up yet. I remind myself to at least take a photo everyday, then I am finding time to post them here slowly.
I might not always share new places, as a stay at home mom, I really stay at home most of the time.

@shaggin Same here, except that I homeschool my children on my own. I am glad there is a park nearby, just within walking distance, and my social life is mostly with my neighbors. That's where my kids found their friends too, besides the neighbors next door.

@kaka135 I understand that I do not work and stay home with my son all day while he does cyber school. I go out once a week or once every two weeks for groceries. I don’t see much or see anyone much to socialize so I don’t always have things to write about here. I just comment on others posts when I don’t have anything new to write.

@Shavkat We don't really celebrate new year's eve, I don't remember doing anything different this year. I guess I just asked my kids to sleep early, so the next day they can wake up early. Well, I have always been asking my kids to sleep early every night.
