It would have been fun

Plans for today included meeting a friend for coffee. It would have been fun, but . . . Jane messaged me before 6:30 to let me know she has a stomach virus. I certainly do not want that. So I took a nap. I took a nap yesterday afternoon, and so last night, for some reason, I did not sleep well at all. That could have been a problem. Or I could have been excited to get out. Or my mind could have been on plans for myself and hubby for the new year. Now I have laundry in and I am going to do some things I meant to do all during break but did not. So hopefully I will sleep well tonight. Tomorrow we go back to school. It is Wednesday, so I will ride the bus. Halfway through the school year. Happy January 2 to you.

I am sorry your friend could not meet you. I have had the stomach virus and know it is not fun at all. I hope she feels better soon.

@GardenGerty Yes, they are. I can see it in winter with the weather not good and others getting sick and passing it on.

I don't know if it is cabin fever, but all I want to do is get out of my apartment. Unfortunately, there aren't many options for me to explore!

I am like you. Often I want to go somewhere else, but do not want to use the gas, spend any money, or eat too much junk.
