Ice cream in the winter.

It is cold in many part of the world and snow fall is taking place at some of the places. In cold weather we like to take hot beverages and hot snacks/dishes to keep ourselves warm. Would you mind eating an ice cream in the cold weather? or you like to enjoy your scoop or cone of ice cream in warmer months only? I am the one who enjoys eating ice cream (not frequently) in winter months.
The advantage of eating an ice cream in the cold weather/winter is - it will not melt quickly and you could enjoy it for the more time. In summer months, one needs to consume a scoop of ice cream quickly, otherwise it melts within no time.

I love ice cream year round just like I love soup and chili year round. Also, I love breakfast food at any time of the day and night as well as tacos, spaghetti, or pizza for breakfast.
The point is, life sets you up with all these rules, all these things you have to follow. I think as long as you are not hurting anyone, anything, or the earth, then you should do what you enjoy!

@taciaelisepeace - It is interesting to know that you love to eat ice cream throughout the year, irrespective of weather conditions. Nothing wrong in eating tacos, spaghetti, and pizza any time of the day. It depends from person to person.
I agree with you that as long as we are not hurting anyone, there is nothing wrong in eating anything and at anytime.

I understand your love for ice cream irrespective of weather. On the other hand I also know that in Mumbai you do not experience cold, as it happens in Northern parts of India and weather generally remains same throughout the year in Mumbai. Keeping in view the weather of Mumbai in mind, you could enjoy ice cream any time of the year.

@mayka123 Right now it is foggy and temperature (around 10.00 am) is 10 degree C in New Delhi. It is lot colder in comparison to 22 degree C.
In Mumbai, there is not much variation so one could enjoy ice cream any day.

@dpk262006 The weather is not exactly the same through out the year. December we are around 22 degrees or so and summer is around 35. But yes its never as cold as in Northern parts of India.

You should eat ice cream when you feel like. If you do not like to eat ice cream during cold, that is fine, nothing wrong in it.

Ah it's not for me, but the other day my friend wanted a ice cream shake. It was -30F out. (I think that's like -60C, or so)

It means that you won't go for an ice cream when it is too cold out there. Your friend seems crazy as she wanted to take ice cream shake in the freezing cold.

@FayeHazel OH! She drinks hot water in summer and takes ice cream in the winters.
Although, taking hot water in summer will not make any adverse affect and in fact will be beneficial for the body.

Oh, this post of yours makes me crave for an ice cream at this very moment when snack time is already over.
Eating ice cream is one craving that doesn't need a hot or cold weather for me. It's actually so cold here now, because of the strong centralized airconditioner we have.

It is interesting to know that you love to eat ice cream, irrespective of weather. I do not think you experience severe winter over there. Sitting an air conditioner and eating an ice cream is altogether a different proposition.

You would like to melt the ice cream before you consume it. Actually, if you a buy an ice cream in cold weather, it will not melt easily and it could last longer. However, there are few who like to take ice cream during winter months.

Yes, most of the people prefer to have ice cream during summer season, only few are there who want ice cream, even in winters.
However, now a days ....carona virus is causing havoc, it is better to avoid any kind of ice cream.

I suppose in winter, temperature is maintained inside your house. When you take ice cream inside your house, it feels natural and you do not feel that you are taking ice cream in cold weather?

You mean to say that if you take ice cream in winter, you suffer cold and soar throat problem. In that case, you could avoid taking it.
