Rain in the San Francisco Bay Area!

Last Winter was a rainy one in California. Especially early Winter. Our snow pack was decent, our reservoirs were at least partially filled, and many declared the drought over.
This year, it has been the opposite. The tall grasses from last year's rain, coupled with a dry late early Winter led to wildfires in both the North and South of California.
Finally, today, we had a decent rain. It's been a slow and fairly steady Seattle-style rain, but at least it something. I'll have to check and see if it's expected to continue.
How's the weather in your neck of the woods? Anything to report other than bitter cold?

It’s bitter cold in the mornings and in the evening And it is warm during the daytime! This is the report from Himalayas, I mean from the hills of Himalayas! However, in the mountains it is very very cold!

Well finally the sun came out on the third day of January. it's the 4th day of January here now and it's sunny with a bit of clouds.

@TheHorse Never at all. I did experience wearing a sweater during the day without rain many years ago in January when the temperature was 17C but the cold index was lower than that.

@TheHorse - Our snow levels are very low this year, too. Next week, though, we are supposed to get at least an inch of rain. I hope that is true!

It is making cold in the evenings. Even at 6 p.m the weather is becoming dull and of course, But, it is quite enjoyable for me to walk in this weather. I like it very much.

Well, we're having roller coaster weather. It was 4° Monday night, 9° last night, but low 50's today, and 60's until the weekend, when it's going to be cold and snow. Typical Colorado, in other words.

I heard the other day that you guys would get that rain . . . and that we "might" get some of it down south (and IF we did, it really wouldn't be that much). Well, thus far we haven't gotten zip . . . please send some showers this way!!

Yes! we will get rain next week and my 50`s are coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes by Saturday we are supposed to be out of the deep freezer.
