If mylot had an app I would have been able to post so much more during the time I travel. I spend about 3 hours a day just travelling and it is by public transport. If there was an app I would have spent those three hours just mylotting. Every day a couple of discussions. Why do they not start an app

All that an app can do is to present information in a different format to that of a standard sized web page. Since the myLot website is optimized for whatever size screen you are using. All you have to do is to log into the site using your browser. You can very easily create a shortcut to myLot on your Home page and this will give you precisely the convenince of access to that which any app would be able to do.
Several people have asked why there isn't an app for myLot available from the Play Store or the Apple Store. The reasons are as follows: a) The myLot website...

The internet speed of browsers is not too fast. I hardly use the browser coz as it is while travelling in public transport the internet connection gets cut off very often. But the time a site opens in the browser the net connection goes off. Anyways will still try saving the shortcut on the home screen of the mobile and see if I can use it.

@mayka123 An app would make no difference, believe me. It has nothing to do with the browser. All that an app does is to deliver information in a different format and it is just as reliant on the speed of your connection as a browser is.

I like he idea of an app. I use my mobile phone for MyLot all the time and it's quite convenient. Will an app make things easier than that?

@mayka123 the app would look and work exactly like the mobile website. Have you tried using the mobile website on your mobile browser. I use it on chrome on 2 different phones. It's worth a shot. Let us know how it feels b

I hardly use the mobile for mylotting. Thats the reason I am not very active. I would have found the app much more convenient.

@pitstop I have tried using the mobile app. But have found it too slow. Prefer using mylot on the laptop as it is much faster to use.

I am not sure if an app will make much difference, but I think myLot has enhanced its mobile version and it works quite well on mobile, so you might still be able to write well on that. I am still not comfortable with using my mobile phone to write, hence I always prefer to use my computer to access myLot.
