Good Morning stating my day with Cashews.
They are from our farms in Goa India, we have a few trees of cashews in our farms.
They are ready to eat but are unpealed just arrived yesterday to our home.

@kavinitu I have seen these markets , but somehow I have feeling lot of manipulation in terms of quality of cashews happen there.
There are lot of duplicate stuff and things like that around.
I may be wrong though, but really found huge differences in quality and taste of different shop cashews at more or less same price.

@kavinitu I ate a handful of cashew last night and drank water afterwards. Nothing happened to me.

I did not know cashews would be there this time of year. My cashew tree is in flower and I expect cashews raining here around March.
I prefer cashew kernels pealed. (lol)

If you could, please share a few photos of the cashew fruits. They are really interesting looking fruits. (Do you have to wear gloves to peel the nuts off? Someone told me many years ago (when I was a tot) that if I bit into the fruit, it would burn my mouth. Is that true? (I haven't seen one for years since.)

@kavinitu Oh, so only the biting, thanks for that info. Can you use the flesh of the fruit at all? Sounds such a waste if you had to get rid of that yummy looking part. I was a tiny kid at the time visiting some relatives and the neighbor of that relative had a few cashew trees among other fruit trees. (They were considered as very well off in that region!)

I remember when we were young and our neighbor used to have three big cashew trees. We stole all the cashews and roasted them on an open fire. Best days of my life.

@kavinitu I was a well-behaved kid with a streak of "bratness" on my really naughty days.
