Scary Thing On The News

This evening there was a story about a man who got bit by a recluse spider. He has a big wound on his back and has to have fluid removed from it every couple of days. He said it bit through his hoodie. Ugh! I hate spiders!!

A while back I wrote a post about a spider and my grandson coming to my rescue. This spider was the same size as the one on the news that they showed. Only difference was that the spider in my room was black and the recluse they showed on the tv was brown. Same size though. Looked the same except for color.

I hope I never see another one.

i saw the aftereffects on a guy in arizona.he had a dent in his skin about the size of a 50 cent piece where the skin was damaged.

We have that spider in my coutry. It is about the only bug with poison we have here. But it is quite dangerous.

@celticeagle Unfortunately most of the houses here have it from what I have heard. I put spider poison at least every 2 months.

Once one of the cats ate a spider and then crawled up on my lap for a couple of hours. The spider must have had venom to make my Samyot ill like that. Thank God he turned out to be okay.

Yes, cats are good at eating spiders. I wondered before how they suffered the poison.

I don't mind spiders. They eat other insects. But saying that, I wouldn't want to meet up with the business end of a brown recluse, either.

Over a year ago my neighbor was bitten by a brown recluse spider. It has done a lot of damage to her body. She is still feeling the effects. I have never lied spiders, now I know why.

Omg such a big spider my son use to see spiders every where before going to bed he had a bad experience with it. Be very careful check around before going to bed or wearing clothes they might be inside.
