The days of the great BUBBLEWS

January 9, 2018 11:11am CST
I am sure some of you will recall a website named 'BUBBLEWS'. This was a writing site, though you weren't actually writing for the content as such. Bubblews was a site co-run by Arvind Dixit. You may wish to do some of your own research, but it was clear that the aim of this site was to drive as much traffic as possible to it. earning revenue from advertisers. The site was set up roughly the same as myLot. You were paid to write articles, but you are paid extremely well. At the height of the 'bubble' I was earning over $200 per day, and this was extraordinary for such a simple website. How they kept up with payments was unclear, but all I needed to know was that I was making thousands of dollars per month at the very peak, and it was only a matter of time before this ended. Members complained about lack of payment, but for every complaint there were dozens of members (like myself) saying how good the site was. I must admit that I didn't realise how worthwhile the site was until the bubble burst, but I made into 5 figures by the end of it, and it was time to move on. There are many sites out there for earning money. myLot is obviously a low paying site, but it is consistent and reliable. With some of the higher paying sites it can only be a matter of time before they disappear, owing members a lot of money. myLot is here to stay, if only because of the sensible and affordable payments they make to members. Were you left out of pocket by Bubblews? Did you find yourself not receiving payment after such a short period of time? I lasted a good few months on the site, and the good days were incredible.

Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end.... Arvind made us dream and I, for one, believed we were going to do something big. I only made a few hundred $ and I think I got paid till the end.

@Bluedoll I think if earnings were scaled back somewhat it could have continued, but it depends on how far they would have had to do this. I know that after the bubble burst the earnings continued, but at a one tenth of the original level or less, so it wasn't worthwhile to continue writing unfortunately.

@Bluedoll I am glad we got our money. Where the company gets their money from is of no concern to me :)

@Bluedoll Thanks for the interaction here on this subject. I am glad the story of Bubblews lives on, and this is probably going to be one of the very last great rick quick' things we hear about for a long time that is 'genuine'. We could genuinely have got rich if we put the effort in at the time. As the saying goes, you don't know what you have lost until it has gone.

I'm also an ex-bubblews member but I don't see why we should still discuss the site. It's gone, may it rest in peace and may Arvind and his cohorts suffer one way or the other.

@TheHorse "the law is a human institution" -- Is it? The first laws were the Ten Commandments.

I would like to see them do time for their efforts, find Jesus (or Moses or someone), and be rehabilitated. I find it hard to wish suffering on others, but I do believe in justice, even if "the law is a human institution" (an "O Brother Where Art Thou" reference).

I think it can be good to reminisce about the good days. As I have said, I have only positive thoughts. Yes, the site ended badly, but it was paying me huge sums of money towards the end.

@Danielclark691 I agree, if it could have continued, it really would have been a good part time job for me.

It was incredible! I wish those days had continued as I believe I would have made a million if the site was like that for a year. It wasn't always good though, at first it was a slow burner

I was with Bubblews for a bit, I never received my $50 from them. Then I heard they closed. I am so glad that myLot is here to stay, even though it is lower paying, it is like you said very reliable. They don't promise what they can't deliver.

I enjoy getting paid here, but it's more for fun than anything. MyLot cannot change a person's standard of living. I like the friends I've made here and things I've learned about other countries.

this is very true. I would say that I could earn in one day on Bubblews what I expect to earn from myLot, so I suppose there is no comparison. I will continue with myLot though and see what happens.

I remember Bubblews as well. I never went without payment from them. I got every payment I requested. But they site owners screwed the members. They could have been up front with all of us. They used us to go on to make another site. I think anything Arvind is part of people should stay away from. He and his cohorts are scammers at heart.

we can't say scammers, but unable to run the show, they didn't run a way with the members earnings.

@Jotomy Well, that is not entirely true. They did screw over many members. And I felt for them. There were complaints with the BBB against them as well. So, they did take money away from members.

@inertia4 Some members, like myself, earned a hell of a lot of money from them. I wasn't complaining but I understand there were many losers also.

I came on board after the "best" days, but I still made some decent money there (four figures, but not five). But even when things were going well, and I was being paid consistently, there was a weird feeling in my stomach. There was something "smarmy" about the site, and about Arvind Dixit. When Arvind started posting delusional articles about his "writing," and spammers and plagiarizers went almost totally unchecked, I knew the end was near.

spammers spoiled the site rather, I felt bad later at the end of the session.

@Jotomy Maybe they were friends of some of those who financed the site. That would explain why they were not dealt with. Perhaps we'll never know.

once the best days were over, earnings were tiny. A little like this website, though it passes the time.

Yes, I to lost money on Bubblews but I also made money to. Nothing is guaranteed on line so we are happy with what we do make.

@Danielclark691 I disagree. If there is a contract, written or verbal, it should be honored. A friend in Law School told me that. If someone put a lot of hours into writing (legitimately) for Bubblews, and was not paid, then they have lost the hours they spent writing.

The way I see it is that nobody lost money. Yes, they may have put effort in to achieve a goal, but they didn't lose money the same way someone in the street gets mugged etc. It was simply a number on a computer until it is in your bank account.

@Danielclark691 there was no way a website that was ran as poorly as they did was going to remain open. however many other websites have folded since then that were ran a little better but couldn't keep up with demands or payments etc. I was a member on bubblews when it closed, I also was a member on persona paper when they stopped paying, and I was also a member on chat about when it closed.
