Were you aware of the tiny gland in the brain that is called the pineal gland? It is reddish-gray in color and about the size of a grain of rice, also said to be the seat of the soul or the third eye. It is located mid brain where the two halves of the thalamus join together. President Obama iniated a new program called the Brain Eniative in 2013 that will map the human brain. New light on how humans, think rememeber and create. It sounds fascinating. There are trillions of connections in the brain with billions of nuerons; if the nueral code can be broken it will mean the answer to many illnesses and mythical questions. A very ambitious government program. Does this gland help us as humans to connect with something more mythical? It is called a star gate in the brain. It seems to create a bridge and makes the human act differently than other beings on the earth. We learn music, bury our dead and create literature, devote time to contimplating our own existence.
