The awesome part about living in NYC is all the great Broadway shows I get to see.
2018 started off great! I saw Dear Evan Hansen this Wednesday. I am going to see Latin History for Morons starring John Leguizamo January 25th, The Iceman Cometh starring Denzel Washington April 5th, and Frozen April 18th. And who knows? Maybe I will get to see more shows within this time.
Though it's not a Broadway show, I am also going to see Demi Lovato in concert March 18th, which I am super excited about. I've seen her in concert before and it was awesome.

I never go to a concert. I am living in a district -- it's a part of the city. We never has such a show here. Glad to hear you have lots of things to see there in NYC.

It's one of the reasons I never want to move out of NYC.

I loved Dear Evan Hansen!!!!! Two of the cast members were substituted by understudies I guess. I wouldn't have known that had they not included that announcement with the playbill. I don't regret spending as much as I did to see it. Still, would have preferred a cheaper price.

I would love to be able to go the theatre more. Luckily it's a long way away to the major ones. I say luckily as the tickets are very expensive.

Tickets here are not cheap either. Even with discounts the price per ticket can be rather high.
And I hate those fees for buying tickets online. Better to go to the theater itself to get tickets. But it's time consuming and have to pay almost six bucks for transportation there and back. Also no guarantee that tickets you want will be available. So, I always get them online.
