Afghan officials say that at least four gunmen have launched an attack on Kabul’s Intercontinental Hotel. They were shooting at guests. Two of the attackers were killed by special forces. Injured and killed people have been reported. The attack comes just some days after the US embassy in Kabul issued a warning about hotels in the city. The Intercontinental is a state-owned hotel which often hosts official events as such as weddings, conferences and political gatherings. It was attacked by the Taliban in 2011. Thank you for reading. What do you think about this tragic event?

How recent was this attack? And for sure, those special forces did a nice job against those attackers.

Reported by BBC before some minutes. Even more, it is not sure whether there are more gunmen in the hotel territory.

Things are pretty hard in Afghanistan. Taliban still tries to dominate government there I guess.

Do hope so. There are still investigations. This is an important building in Afghanistan.
