Sleepless!

Last night, the three of us (I, my son, and my sister) were sleepless because our dog Chibi kept on barking the whole night.
I woke up at 8:50AM while my sister went down to the living room after 10AM; my son also woke up at 10:10AM.
I don’t know why Chibi was acting strangely last night. Could it be because Sydney, the dog owned by my kid brother, went home to my brother’s house which is at the back of our ancestral home? All the dogs are accustomed to sleeping with lights off.
Sometimes I allow Chibi to sleep in my bedroom (I made a discussion about ‘blanket’); sometimes in my son’s room, or my sister’s room, but he kept on barking.
The 3 of us have dark circles around our eyes, and I feel so sleepy now. I want to sleep early tonight and I hope Chibi won’t be much of a ‘nuisance’ to us.
I will watch this movie Sleepless starring Jamie Foxx; let us see why the film is entitled Sleepless, surely Foxx does not have a dog?

Yes, it could be that indeed. Good thing, you don't have to report to work so you were able to oversleep.
As of me, sleep eluded me until it was already 12 midnight. Hubby was snoring already yet I can't sleep.
Now, I am so sleepy, I hope I can sleep early to catch up on my lost sleep too.

@ridingbet She keep erupting now, almost every 4-6 hours. I have posted new pictures of her eruptions. It's getting stronger that we can already hear the rumblings whenever it is erupting.

the past 2 nights, Chibi was quiet and just seldom barked because my son brought him in to his room. even last night, i had a sound sleep. how are you, my lady? how is Mayon?

no, i believe it is not a new film, maybe it is a year or 2 ago. i like Jamie Foxx. he did well as the US president in White House Down.

@ridingbet Here the owners are responsible if a dog barks during the night. If you do nothing to stop the barking, the police comes out and you get a fine.

@LadyDuck that should be a law here. dogs stay within the premises of their owners' homes, though some unleash their dogs and these canines stay outside in the streets. dognapping. we have a neighbor here who lets his dog pee and poop in front of our gate, so i told Doming the owner, to leash his dog when it pees and poops, or the dog should do his thing in front of Doming's own house.

oh, we do not have or never bought an anti-bark collar, but we can sleep unless the bark is so constant and continuous. but the dogs are good guards of the house, even we can not plug in the door bell anymore.

yes, especiially if they are howling. i also believe they can see the unseen spirits around. that is why when i drive home at 11PM, i usually blow the horn of the car when passing by dark places.

Chibi wants to be pet as always. it seems he is jealous of Sydney and Macy because these 2 are so 'malambing' that they want to be frequently pet(ted). Sydney is ferocious, she even bit me twice, but sometimes he lies down and moves his limbs as if wanting to be scratched in his abdomen.

my son seemed to discover what makes Chibi sleep soundly. our bedroom doors are ajar, enough for Chibi to get in in either of our rooms with my son. also Chibi wants to be pet

i wanted to watch Sleepless but i watched Justice League first. then it was already dusk when the movie was finished, and i had to cook rice for our supper. now that it is my off day, i plan to watch the movie of Jamie Foxx.

thank you. yes, but now that it is daytime, Sydney is here at home, and all our dogs are sleeping. it is like their siesta time.

I have many nights were insomnia sneaks in....but I'm always out if bed before 6 AM. I couldn't imagine laying in bed until 10 AM.

10AM here is still like it is 7AM; the sun is partly hidden due to the gloomy weather. i think we can stay longer in bed if we have not slept soundly the night before.

Chibi was calmer a couple of nights ago. i think Chibi can sense if the female dogs we have here are ovulating. hahaha
