Improved star rating.

The main website where I do freelance writing has bumped me up another star rating, which means there's almost three times as much work for me to do if I want to. I accepted an order for a article, so that is what I am working on now. I'm super excited about the improved star rating. It means I have better opportunities and get paid a little better for the orders I do take.
What good news have you gotten today?

Congrats! Must be a great feeling. No good news for me today really, with the exception of finally getting my quiz on Virily edited.

I am pretty excited about it, since they do weekly payouts as long as you have over ten bucks earned. It's pretty cool.

Well good for you. I am not doing as well. One site I was writing for that also pays just went under and now at least I have myLot and one other site plus my blogs just for fun.

I don't know if the website that I am speaking of does international. They might because they have an Australian site, and Canada as well it hink.

Our city commission voted to raise the minimum wage for city workers to $13.25/hour. That means my lifeguards, who one year ago were making $8.50/hour, are now enjoying a whopping $5/hour raise! Isn't necessarily good news for me personally, but it's great news for my lifeguards, and therefore it affects me in a positive way!

@thislittlepennyearns I live in a very liberal city who thinks everyone should be paid $15/hour at the minimum. You know, like your cashiers at McDonalds who have no education, can barely speak English, and mess up your order no matter how many times you clarify what you want.
I mean, I'm all for paying people a decent wage, but whatever happened to starting at the bottom and moving up the ladder based on how hard you worked?

I wish our minimum wage was even $8.50 an hour. Lol. It just got raised to $8.25 here. haha.

@kobesbuddy There are a couple of us that write for them. I don't do it as much as I used to because I have my day job as well, but I was paid by them a couple weeks ago.

I'm glad I don't have to rely solely on the income from the freelance stuff, and am thankful to have a part time job as well. But its nice to be able to earn some extra money each week writing and doing something I like.
