I'm not really sure where these guys come from...maybe Pennsylvania?
Okay, I admit to being a bit flummoxed here. It seems this album, that had only 1 single 'chart' from it, sold 2 million more copies than their next release, that had 3 singles hit the charts.
So I guess this went 6x Platinum on the basis of one song...if you go by the charts.
Myself? I think this is the best album they released anyway. And while 'Carry On Wayward Son' may be their most popular song, the album has several other dynamite tracks as well.

This is really the only album (in my opinion) that is worth having. If only for the titles: Father Padilla Meets the Perfect Gnat, Release the Beavers, etc.

I once uploaded a video called 'Carry on and on and on and on and on my wayward son' of just the first guitar 'lick' repeating for about 10 minutes.

I have to say that one of the funniest real tours that happened in the 80s was Kansas and Toto. That's funny. (Always wish Marvin Gaye and George Strait had toured together....
)
Never had any use for these guys, so don't blame me for their six million dollar sales, man.
