I was delighted to receive this beautiful postcard from Carol in Washington, with a "Happy 2018" wish. Its February already, and I cannot believe the year is already into its second month. I have 57 days to my eldest daughter's wedding, and the TO-DO lists just get longer and longer every day. With all the planning and going into retirement, it feels as if my brain and the hundred and one things on my mind are bouncing off my skull into utter chaos. So I make many lists to keep me sane. I hope you are all well on this 3rd day of February - I am off to play bowls in a 'Trips' competition and looking forward to some female chatter and good exercise. Leave your calling card and I'll be back. Isn't that photo of Mount Rainier magnificent? @inlemay I always loved those words Par Avion when I was growing up. Theysignified adventure and the beyond for me. Also make me think of rubber for some reason.

This is a beautiful postcard. I Love living here in WA and being able to see Mt Rainier anytime I want unless it is really cloudy. I am only about an hr and a half drive or so from the Mountain.

I have seen Mount Rainier and it is magnificent. I am still busy fixing the succession of my mom. May be I will relax in the second half of the year.

Certainly a beautiful postcard. Making lists is a great way to keep track when you have many things on your mind.
