Although I can knit I much prefer to crochet. It is quick and easy to undo and much quicker to redo than knitting so even if you have to undo some it is easy to get under way again. I don't think there is a simple way to fix mistakes when knitting.

even when i crochet, i have to look intently at the design, because i could rip the finished product and rectify the mistake.

i would just leave it in and continue. if someone says anything just tell them it is your trade mark. lol. so all will know who done it. thats what i used to do when beading, pretty much the same concept.

I am willing to bet there isn't a way to fix a mistake in either one without taking everything apart down to the mistake and start again from there.
