"Freezing your ass off?" Well, I'm here to tell you, considering I don't have much of a one (ass); now I can't find it!!! Sunday afternoon around 2pm, there was an Ice Storm; and I'm talking about halfway between Dallas and Houston. Everything and I mean 'everything' was covered in ice. Trees, cars, ground, porch, steps; you name it. That also meant that I had to go outside to feed the donkeys and have I mentioned before that they don't go under their lean-to in bad weather? Now I know where the term 'dumb a**' comes from except I have 3 of them. Of course the door to the building was frozen shut and the steps going up into the building were like an ice skating rink. Oh joy!! They saw me coming from across the pasture and made a bee-line to the lean-to to get their hay. By the time I got back to the house, I was one frozen Popsicle. Now mind you come Thursday, it's suppose to be 73 degrees (22.77 c). Hopefully I can find my butt by then.

Sunday morning we had to go out very early and everything was covered with ice. I hate when it is so cold.

We didn't have ice Sunday, but we had rain most of the morning and some of the afternoon. Today it's supposed to rain again.

I never knew Texas could have such crazy ice storms until recently. Every time I have visited Texas, it was hot as hell! When I lived in Kansas they would have crazy ice storms like that.

Oh yeah, we can hit actual 115 degree temps in the summer @taciaelisepeace . When I lived in Wichita, Kansas it was like living in Omaha, Nebraska; you never knew what was gonna hit you.

They said we were going to get it up here in Sherman but we didn't, just a little drizzle but that wind is ice cold when it blows.

It's nice phrase.
