This is what I have now. Hayfever. I have a congested nasal passageway and congested lacrimal glands, causing my eyes to be swelling red. Yesterday I had slight fever and reddish eyes despite the decongestant that I took so I opted to bring my students to the 3rd floor for orientation and for them to finish their case presentation. Today I hope my eyes will look better and the hayfever will be treated so we can work in IMCU.

@mlgen1037 thanks. hay fever or allergic rhinitis is seasonal. if it is the first days of summer, i will certainly have the symptoms; even during the cold climate, i can have the allergy.

I have hay-fever usually in late Spring, when the flowers are blooming. I hope you will get better soon.

yes hat fever is a=present when spring time comes or when the flowers start blooming. here, there are some pollens that are invisibly flying around; dust too make us have runny nose. my son is having sneezes so i told him to take antihistamines.

Allergic rhinitis? Did you drink some anti histamines? When did the class starts? We usually have anti histamines and nasal spray but I think it is most likely caused by changing of weather once again. I hope you feel much better.

@ridingbet true, the weather changes is the culprit. My son is now sneezing every morning and have a clogged nose. So I have to spray him avamys. And we all have to take cetirizine at bedtime.

no, red and swelling eyes is a manifestation of allergic rhinitis or hay fever. this is also defined on Wikipedia dictionary. "Allergic rhinitis, also known as hay fever, is a type of inflammation in the nose which occurs when the immune system overreacts to allergens in the air. Signs and symptoms include a runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, red, itchy, and watery eyes, and swelling around the eyes." Allergic rhinitis - Wikipedia

yes, ading. 'manang' is the Iloco term for 'big sister'. 'ading' is younger brother or sister.
