Seeing My Ophthalmologist This Morning

Unfortunately, I have to see my ophthalmologist this morning at 10:30. It only takes about 5 minutes to get there by car. So, that part is not bad. The part that I don't like is that I am having a lot of problems with my eyes since I had 2 cataract surgeries+ the laser treatment after. And I see worst than ever. I hope he can find what is wrong, because I am having more and more trouble dealing with this problem.

I am sorry to know that you have problems. Your vision after cataract surgery should be very clear. It is possible that some cells have regrown over the implanted lens. I hope your ophthalmologist can fix the problem.

I already had the "laser treatment" after the 2 surgeries. It was for what they call "secondary cataracts". But now I see worst than before I had the surgeries.

@marlina I thought it was what they call "secondary cataracts". I cannot understand why the laser treatment did not work. I have read that more than 95% of people see very clearly after surgery. You have been very unlucky having the problem to both eyes.

Oh damn @marlina . I need cataract surgery so bad but according to the insurance, I'm not 'blind' enough. Are they misdiagnosing the situation and you have Glaucoma instead?

Proper eyesight is so needed for a fulfilling life. Hope you get back to normalcy after the treatment. I had cataract surgery in one eye and that seems to be a success - siva

That is horrible you see worse now then before you had those surgeries which are supposed to help you see better. I hope the doctors can give you answers.

The one I knew that had that surgery done had to go and have the lens cleaned up again and after that it was okay. Hope that is your case too and they clean it all up and away so you can see much better again.

I am due for another eye checkup, but I am too lazy. It is just a routine yearly one.
