What a sunrise we had today! Good News as well.

When I walked into the dining room at 6:50 AM the sky was so beautiful that I had to grab my camera and step out into the 25 degree F (-3.8 C) weather and take a photo or two. Anne was still asleep, and it changes so fast I did not want to wake her rush in to see it.
She got great news today! Her entry into the international Studio Art Quilters challenge called "Dusk to Dawn" was accepted. I am sure that hundreds of artists from around the world entered.
Thirty-five artists from different countries, including Australia, Canada, Japan, Israel and the UK were chosen, including two besides Anne from Oregon. There was one male artist included.
I'll include a list of artists in case anyone is curious about those from their own country.

Yes, she does and gets better all the time. I can't resist adding a photo. It is called "In the Shadows of Our Town", about homelessness.

Thank you. That was the extent of the competition really. All 35 pieces will now tour part of the world for three years apparently.
