First of all, this is one of those pictures I had "lost". They were just in the middle of over 750 other images. The older images are duplicates and were not supposed to import but they did. That is not all I did not like. I live across from what used to be a football field, when our school was here. Now there are disc golf baskets here, and it is wide open. Yesterday some young men decided to enjoy the fine day on their motorized vehicles. Some were on four wheel all terrain vehicles (atv) and one was on a dirt bike. They revved their engines, and did stunts and made loops and popped wheelies. The particular young man in my photo rode around on the outside right hand tires only. Two on the ground two in the air. Besides being loud, we felt that if someone would meet with a mishap we would be the ones providing first aid. I suppose it is better that they be here in town instead of somewhere remote, but man they were loud.

Helmets have been mandatory here for many years and most now wear them as a matter of course. And you're right. .They can be very loud.

There is a grandpa that comes out with a child regularly for a slow ride around. I wish they wore helmets. I think the grandpa ride is cool. Not loud. I know it is spring, and there is much worse these youngsters could be doing, but I would hate to be the first responder to an accident.

@GardenGerty I know what you're saying. It's good they're having fun - as long as nothing goes wrong.

I wouldn't like the sound of them being around either. Glad they didn't get hurt.

I am glad they did not stay terribly long, but I figure they may be back.

Not too bright riding on that without a helmet or any protection on his arms. But.......today's kids know it all don't they? Kinda makes me cringe.

I have known of many people who have gotten hurt on these things. Not just kids.

@GardenGerty When we lived out in the village with farmland surrounding us, there used to be a lot of kids riding those, and sadly enough, we had lots of fatalities too. Too much power for too young a mind to realize how to properly control it, and not sufficient protection.
