Bernie Weiner who is a volunteer at the Levindale Hebrew Geriatic Center in Baltimore Maryland for 23 years is nicknamed "Candyman"
Weiner, 90, works on Tuesday at the hospital selling candy to the patients and medical personnel.
Weiner is admired at the hospital since he not only sells candy. Weiner also gives comfort to the patients to help them recover faster from their illnesses.
The money that Weiner makes from the sales of his candy is given back to the hospital so the residents of the hospital can enjoy trips and entertainment.
Weiner admits by being busy, he maintains his desire to live as a person who cares for the people he serves at the hospital which has made him a very valuable person in the Baltimore area.
As far as Weiner goes, age to him is just a number.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some actually sell candy at hospitals.
