Truck through the front door.

I just got a text message from a co worker and attached was a picture of the entrance to the store. Where apparently the truck drive plowed through early this morning.
From what can gather, the truck driver got there late last night and parked in front of the store facing the store. He climbed up into the truck to sleep, and by the time he woke up and felt the truck moving, he was already going through the front of the store.
I have attached the picture. I really hope it actually uploads. I'm glad the driver is okay, and that thankfully it was when the store was closed.

@thislittlepennyearns That's just crazy. Hopefully it will get repaired soon! I know the one down the road from me would probably stay open too.

It sounded like they were open today, and i haven't heard different about tomorrow. So it seems like they powered through. You know whatever the man has to do to get a buck. I'm glad i wasn't there when it happened.

@shaggin Nope as far as i know we were open all day today. I didn't hear different and the roommate drove through town today and said that there were glass repair guys when he drove through town at about 230.

I'm really glad it happened during off hours. I kind of feel bad for the truck driver since it was his fault, he is probably out of a job now.

My first husband was an over the road trucker. He would Never have parked facing the store. It sounds like this driver did not secure all of his brakes. It is good that it happened early so that perhaps not many were in danger. It is too bad about the store.

I didn't get told I couldn't work tomorrow. I don't know how long it will take to fix, but I'm sure they'll tell me if I cant work tomorrow.

@snowy22315 I think I'm scheduled to cashier tomorrow. For the amount of time that I am scheduled tomorrow it sure seems like a cashier shift. I guess it all depends on how bad structurally its damaged and If its safe for us to be there or not. I don't know why the truck driver parked out front they always park in the back.

even if they cant let customers in, I'm sure they can find something for us to do, if not they'll send us to another store.
