We are leaving a little early

I am having my husband take me to work, so that after work we can pick up the van. We are still undecided about taking it on the road trip, but we need to have it back at home anyway. Today, I have the field trip. Part of the challenge for me is not the distance, but the understanding of the student I am accompanying. Oh, and the fact that he is a brittle type 1 diabetic, who is lactose intolerant and who has celiac disease. We have to be careful what snacks we take, but he must have snacks, a glucometer, etc along with us. We both have to take water. I have to explain carefully to him what is expected. Time to go to work. I will see you sometime this evening. We are pretty certain we will eat out. The cat wants some special food for her as well, so we will shop. Hope you are doing well.
