The article below goes to show you that the color of things you choose must have been decided by company’s like Pantone months before they came out. This is a trend that is emerging. It is big business. People are getting influenced especially in the fashion industry. This is because many people seem to let themselves be led easily. It is called color forecasting. Do you give a thought to how you choose color especially in fashion? Do you tend to follow what is on trend or just follow your instinct? I don't follow the fashion trend. I am contented with my own fashion statement. In terms of color, I prefer black and white, it doesn't fade away in fashion.

Flash and white, in my view, are conservative colors. Yes, they can never fade especially white. Even black. Are you conservative by nature? Sorry if I asked.

Over the years I've learnt what colours suit me best. That doesn't mean I can always buy clothes in those colours or that they are fashionable.

@mydanods Clear bright colours make me feel energised and happy - bright yellow, red, clear blue - but nothing murky or dull.

I've been wearing dark colors like blue and black, especially pants. I can wear them numerous times and they are easy to clean!! Takes the stress out of what to wear!!!

@mydanods Thanks for the question. I like the darker shades of almost every color (dark green, dark blue, dark red). From the lighter shades I like purple and pink. I also like the classical colors: grey, black and white. There is only one color that I don't like, brown is really not my world.

I follow my instinct. I'm not much into fashion, but my favorite color is purple. I dont mix and match colors. I'm very plain jane. :-)

Yeah I always pay attention to color...I study color theory...the colors people wear with their clothes express their personalities and companies use certain colors for marketing, like you say bc certain colors give you certain emotions

That's true. But sometimes instead of insisting on a particular color because you can't just be wearing that color all the time, people tend to accept whatever color they see.
