The guests have left and I´m happy and with a full belly. I decided not to wash the dishes. I will wait until tomorrow and will do it will Leticia.
They all loved the papas a la huancaína. That was served with champagne as starters.
Then I served the picante de gallina, a dish that is my grandmother´s recipe and is not served at any Peruvian restaurant. Now, every dish that calls for hens is cooked with chicken. And the result is quite different.
I went to buy hens at the farmer´s market and the broth of those much older birds is quite different. They all asked for seconds. I´m glad that I cooked a big amount.
My sister in law brought the dessert: the Peruvian Suspiro Limeño, made by her own hands.
Now I will get ready for bed. Tomorrow I will have to help Leticia to clean up the mess Sleep tight, friends. See you tomorrow
Sleep tight, friends. See you tomorrow
