Worth doing badly

This post is inspired by @Kandae11's post on perfectionism We are all familiar with the opposite saying, that if a thing is worth doing it is worth doing well, meaning that we should strive to do everything to the best of our ability, but years ago I heard someone say that if a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly. What he meant was, there are some things for each of us that we will never really do well. Does that mean that we should never attempt those things? This man said no, if there is something that we enjoy, something that we want to do, then we should just go ahead and do it, regardless of whether we are good at it or not. Of course, if we do something long enough and often enough, the chances are we will improve our ability in that thing, but that was not his point. Even if the very best we will ever be at something is still not good, if it is something we want to do, we should still enjoy it, and not be discouraged by our lack of ability. What do you think? Are there things that you don't do well, but still enjoy doing?
Are you a perfectionist? According to the dictionary , a perfectionist is someone who - wants everything to be perfect and demands the highest standards...

I enjoy singing, though my singing voice is awful - I just don't sing in public

They are definitely counted. How terrible it would be if nobody sang or danced because they couldn't do it perfectly.

Yes, there are so many things we do but are not perfect. As for instance, I enjoy singing though I know I am not perfect in it.
