Snow on the first day of spring

I thought we had some nice spring weather last week, but I guess it was only a preview. Today I woke up and looked at my weather app for Tokyo, and it has rain all day and snow at 10:00. Well, it is almost 10:00 and already it has been snow mixed with rain for two hours. Not white fluffy stuff but clearly icy rain. I can't complain, though, because some of my friends around the world are getting up to 14" of snow on the first day of spring. How's your weather? Are you getting snow? Down Under people, I guess this is the first day of autumn for you, right? Happy Equinox Day!

We have some storm weather right now, very horrible winds which shake houses, trees and whatever else. Add to that, the rain steadily pours.

It seems that Autumn has started on a warmer note in the southern hemisphere, than Spring here in the northern. It is sunny and cold here.

I know March saw some bad weather on the east coast of the US. April now, and we got 9 inches of snow yesterday.

Happy equinox to you too, even if it doesn't feel like it. The weather here is normal for the season. We dont feel it really warming up until mid April or May. The seasons have been delayed somewhat for the past few years. Last October we had temperatures up to 18° C, right into November. (I live in Canada) :-)
