Don't feel like dragging myself to the box office to get concert tickets

I tell myself that today I will finally go to Madison Square Garden to get the concert tickets I wanted to get, so I don't have to pay those pesky fees. Though maybe the venue will charge something anyway. Don't know, as never gotten tickets there before.
And then I change my mind... Don't feel like dragging myself to the venue. It would take at least two hours to get there. And then another two hours or so to get back home.
I tell myself that I should just forget about the fact that I have to pay all those fees and get the tickets online. But I can't bring myself to spend so much money. The ticket is $126 but, with the fees and the shipping, it will cost close to $160. And that's a hefty price to pay for a concert ticket. But I really want to see Philip Kirkorov!
There are still a lot of tickets available, so maybe I will hold off on buying them online and force myself to go to the box office one of these days. I doubt they will be sold out anytime soon.

I think I would go to the box office for 34$. It is a huge additional fee. Is it normal there? We usually pay 1-5$ as fee to get the ticket online.

I think fees vary per each event. Not sure about this but maybe they vary for each price range as well. There are usually different fees, not just one. And it's usually over $10.

I would compare the few against the time and the cost to me of going to pick up the tickets. Sometimes its cheaper in the long run to have them sent to you.

@BearArtistLady It is true. As we have low fees (and only one), I usually buy them online. Time is more precious in this case.

That seems a lot in fees. We have to pay extra here too if we pay online.

@lovebuglena They really like to rake in the money with the extras don't they? That is a lot for postage.

It is a lot of fees!
What ticks me off is that they are charging $4.50 to mail the tickets when postage is under fifty cents.

@lovebuglena I do a lot of buying on EBay and some of the fees for postage would really tick you off! I've seen people list postage on a pair of small scissors at fifteen dollars....or a teddy bear pattern at twelve dollars while the item itself is selling for under five dollars! I watch really closely who I buy from. There are several Goodwill stores that sell on EBay and I nearly always buy from them.

I'm kind of person that would be thinking about the $34 extra for the ticket. Are you buying one or two tickets? Is that extra per ticket or for how ever many you're buying? The biggest point you have to keep in mind is that this concert is something you really want to see. It is a big treat and you need to keep it in mind that you're worth the time and cost of the ticket. You'll kick yourself if you don't take advantage of this opportunity!!! Go for it Lovebuglena!!!!!

I am getting two tickets at $126 each. The fees for both tickets combined are about $56 from what I remember. Plus, there is a $4.50 fee to have the tickets mailed to my house. No will call option available as the concert is in September. So it comes out to a little under $160 a ticket.
