Quite An Exciting Morning!!

I found a new cousin that is listed as a 3rd cousin thanks to our mutual DNA test. That is REALLY close. All she had on her tree was a set of parents and one set of grandparents but it was close enough to know that we are related. One surname is the same as my grandmother's maiden name and they were both born in the same town. She I'm waiting to hear back from hear. What I found funny is that this new cousin has lived in California all her life and here I am in the Canadian prairies!! And neither knew that the other one existed.

I took a DNA test from Ancestry. There were 2 new cousins this morning :)

I have lots of cousins I might not get to know about ever but even so I imagine them and us as being together and having great fun only sometimes though when I daydream a bit.
Hope she gets in touch with you and you might be able to meet up also.
