Realympics

Seeing as we just had the 2018 winter Olympics, it inspired me to write about a funny thought I've been having for quite some time.
Wouldn't it be great if there were an "Olympics" for everyday life events? 
Stuff like : you'd set up 2 identical drive ways covered in ice and snow and have your athletes wearing inappropriate shoes for the weather with no gloves. also they would have to dig through a large purse like bag to find their keys. Such an event could be called "drive way slip and slide" .
Or it could be other real world dilemmas like budget. I can almost hear a sportscaster in my mind narrating the following: "Fayehazel pulls into the lead in our tight rope budget balance event by using the cook at home instead of go out to eat" maneuver.
I'm sure I could win at very much least a few medals in the "realympics". 
What other hilarious fake events could you think up?

I think the supermarket sweeps would be great, trying to find the best-priced turkey in a very deep and cold case while fighting off the competition!!

I found the second half of her performance exhilarating.
When I was working in the call center, we had call center Olympics - we would toss the phone, have chair races since all our chairs were on wheels, and others I can't remember.

There should be an event where people are given a list of items to find at the dollar store. Just finding your way through the maze is time consuming.

Well, life as a whole seems like olympic already .. there are times when we have to compete with everyone and everything .. if we are not fit we won't make it.. so yeah I could think of a lot of "games" for "realympic".. but right right this moment, I can't think of any .. lol ....

Oh so very true. Life is very challenging at times. Even if there are no dire emergencies. Just having time to pay the bills, do the shopping, do the house work, etc
