"And He rose on the Third Day"

I'm not going into whether or not Jesus existed, or if He was the Son of God, or if He was God in human form, or any of that. Y'all can believe whatever you want, I'm not going to say anyone is wrong. I'm just hung up on the 'Third Day' thing today. If He died at 3 PM on a Friday, yet Sunday before sunrise Mary Magdalene found His tomb empty, then He was buried slightly over 36-39 hours. Three days is 72 hours. Jesus prophesied "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth (Matthew 12:40)." Which would point to a Monday Resurrection. Sunday before sunrise would be less than two full days and two nights. Just confuses me, that's all...

I always thought that what they say about religion is often confusing. You know, if you cannot convince them, confuse them.

It was the Russians that caused the confusion.

@JolietJake Australia tried to replace the Easter bunny with the bilby (rabbit-like native creature) in an effort to raise funds to help in its survival. I don't recall seeing much about it this year.

I'm sure Doctor Who was somehow involved. That's the only way it makes sense.

Dang good point @JolietJake . I'll have to ask Him when I see Him. Yeah, right; like that's gonna happen.
