Visiting a different country
With warmers day not too far away, the thoughts of travel come to mind.
It’s been a few years since I stepped foot outside the UK but hopefully, I will do this year, fingers crossed.
I have so many places I would love to visit, maybe too many. One of the places on my backlist is Barcelona, Spain, so hopefully, I will make there this year even if it’s only for a long weekend.
Do you have any plans to visit another country this year?

Maybe next year then for you. I have visited Brussels many years ago and the Atomium which was interesting from what I remember.

My friend invited me to go to Spain with him this year. His mother lives there and his mother wanted him to go there this year so he got himself a visa and invited me to get one too so we could go together. However, my schedule is just so unpredictable that I can't seem to go at all.

Oh, yeah I know your schedules are, but the UK isn't too far away from Spain if you ever decide to visit

Barcelona is an excellent choice. So much to see and do but.... watch your wallet! I already have several trips booked this year and next year so it seems!

This year I planned my trip on the optimum weather in India. I asked the school if I can have a holiday in term time. They let us however they put the time down as unauthorised. We took 10 school days and the 1 week February half term. Our route was London-Istanbul-Mumbai overland Chennai-Colombo-Kuala Lumpur-Cebu-Singapore-London. We got flights on Turkish Airlines, Sri Lankan Airlines, Malindo Air, Air Asia and Norwegian Air. All those flights cost around £1800 and the safari in India was around £600. The visas we had to buy were for Turkey, India and Sri Lanka. For next year we have booked 3 flights on Air Asia. We are waiting for Norwegian Air for April 2019 flights.

We are going to Tasmania in a month or so which isn't another country but another state. However the climate will be quite a bit different to what we have here.
