How do you like your fries?

There are so many ways to french fry potatoes. There are the regular straight cut, crinkle cut, julienne cut, shoestring, tater tots, hashbrowned, curly fries, potato wedges...etc. I love french fried potatoes in all of their fancies. I also enjoy them as a poutine with gravy and mozzarella cheese, oven baked, deep fried and with various sauces like ketchup and gravy. I like them salted as well. Which is your favorite french fry cut and how do you normally serve/eat them?

McDonald's fries do still count as some of the best. Although, they were much better back in the day when they used to cook them in animal fat instead of vegetable oil.

i don't know why i dislike it. maybe i read too much negative aspect about it. but i just finished a bag of fries now. i buy it because it's a big discount. i buy something i don't need after work because the big discount.

I havent had some in a good while Lucinda, but my favorite are shoe string very thin friends but toasted well. And I love ketchup with them too.

I probably prefer string and crinkle cut best. But when you start talking about hash browns...man, that's a delight as well. One way I do not like them is the waffle cut variety such as Chick-Fil-A serves.

I like the bigger cut of French Fries, just like in KFC and the one where we drank last night. And I want it with ketchup and mayonnaise.
