Bob Marley has been my inspiration growing up and he still is long after his death.
Last night I listened to one of his albums and each and every song brought memories of growing pains and good times. In the song One Love he suggests that love can bring us together and make us feel alright. A sample of his lyrics are below:
One Love! One Heart!
Lets get together and feel alright
Give Thanks and Praise to the Lord and I will feel alright
One Love is one of Bob Marley's feel good songs that brings me a certain calm and peace.
I will be discussing some other inspirational Bob Marley songs in future posts. This is not a music review it is about a connection I have had with his music and lyrics and how they have inspired me over the years.
Is there a song that has inspired you growing up?

And a number of times it was No Woman No Cry but I think I misunderstood the song as I gave it my own interpretation, meaning that since a woman in my life hurt me and now she is gone, also gone is my reason for crying. I have no woman and I have no reason to cry as women have caused me to shed a lot of tears. It worked for me!

@Freelanzer Yes, as a song can have different meanings for different people.

@1hopefulman The important thing is that it worked for you. Another of my favourites.

Life seems to have a sound track based on the music that went with our experiences. A song will play and I go back to where I used to be.

I cannot pick just one. Music was always a part of my life growing up, if I was not playing it I was listening.

Do you play an instrument - if so what? I tried the organ and I can play a little but needs a lot more work
