Delivering For Uber Eats Has Been A Blessing

As many of you know, 11 days ago we decided to accept the challenge to try and make some extra money delivering for Uber Eats. We have a friend who recently started doing this and she does it only part time and makes at least a $100 a week extra money so we decided why not.
What a Blessing and Fun job this is. It is a great way to make some extra money and exciting to see all the different types of food you can have in your car in a weeks time. Most of the places we pick up at are really nice, friendly and helpful but there is one place the woman working there is downright Rude and unfriendly. We have a choice to put a thumbs up or down and if down why... Unless she improves she will continue to get a Thumbs down from us, and really wish she was not in Customer Service
We have a Free delivery up to $10 coupon since we drive for them that expires the end of the month we need to use, but right now we are busy trying to make $$ for groceries and catching up on other bills we have fallen behind on. But we are planning on using that one soon.
Have you ever used them for Food delivery or known anyone who has? This is the New way of the future and great way to make some extra cash. One advantage for us is we have a Toyota Prius which is Great on gas.

It has truly been a blessing. Our bills are able to keep being caught up which has really been a blessing, and we are able to buy food now without an issue

@KrauseHome I know people who are working with Uber and it really helps. I sold my car a couple of years ago and Uber is a very good and reliable way to take me to the public transportation

For sure, and it gets you along further in life. But we do run into our share of Ruder people and some of them are in the restaurants actually giving us the food to deliver.

I would love to try but it would not work for us as we do not live anywhere near restaurants and such. I am so glad this is something the two of you can do together.

Yes not all areas are offering it there yet either... And it can add up gas wise. But it is Fun and the extra money is nice

I don't think I would trust people to bring me food I would worry about how many hands had touched my food. I'd worry if they smoke with my food in the car etc. I think it is awesome you are doing this thing and enjoying it. Having the extra money is great.

Never considered some of these concerns. Have also seen where people ride with their dogs in the front seat while they are out delivering food. Not sure this is really the Best either.

@KrauseHome not good for anyone who is going to be eating the food and has severe allergies to dogs.

Have never heard of them before, they probably don't have that here since this town is pretty small. Good that your making some extra money on a fun job.

It is starting to be popular here too in Australia .. my youngest son use the service when they don't have time to cook after long day at work ..

I have never used it but it is a good concept to order food from places that do not deliver.

That sounds like a great way to make some extra money. I haven't heard that Uber is doing that yet. I am not sure if they are doing that in my area, but I think I would like that better than driving strangers around in my car. Thanks for sharing your experience.
