I have some posts, personal and shared, on Facebook that receive many likes. I like to share some posts about family especially missing the departed parents, and some amusing posts as well.Some posts wherein I take pictures with my phone, and immediately share them in the social medium site, get likes from my former students now colleagues, family and colleagues, and even friends of my colleagues.
The 5 pictures I took from the hospital that I shared yesterday upon my arrival back home, already has many likes but not yet about a hundred or fifty. Receiving more than 30 for me is already great!
When we have activities, as soon as I take pictures, my colleagues tell me, “Ma’am Ingrid will post those pictures immediately when she goes home”, and that is what I do. That is why I immediately tag their names so my posts will appear in their walls.
But there are some likers who are unknown to me. I would click on the names and read their wall/page, and learn who among my friends they are friends with.
If you have a Facebook account, what is your personal setting? Is it public, for friends only, or private?

I have a Facebook account. My personal setting is for my friends only except when I am posting about my online shop.

i also changed mine to public about 4 years ago. but my username has a twist so not all my former students know it. once i made my username 'inverted' (last letter as the first) but still i was sent friend requests by my students.

when i started my FB account last 2009, i placed my settings to private. but my other colleagues did not know i had an account so i changed it.

I have a facebook account. Most of it is public. There are some stuff I have on private setting.

me too, public setting, but there are some posts that i share to my specific group, that is why we have the 'troop of friends' or the 'tropang prenship', a closed group of us instructors.
