The Olesen Family

he Olesen family of Elgin, Illinois have had a strange relationship with lightning. Since 1899 ten members of the family have been struck and two of them have died. The family believed that this attraction may have something to do with genetics. The chances of being struck by lightning in your lifetime is 1 in 3000.

That is sad for that family, I wonder why that is. My brother was struck by lightening, it went through his hand and out of his foot and caused much damage to the muscle in his leg but he lived.

@celticeagle It could be what they wear. I am told some clothes are more conducive to lightening passing through them.

No relation to them. My dad was struck by lighting and it killed him. :( I can't wear watches. I literally kill the battery if I try.
