I need a break... or escape!

I haven't been working on my programming projects for quite some time. Lately, I have just been busy with taking care of kids, homeschooling, decluttering the home.
There is no new project, but there might be a potential client for a project that I have developed, and I needed to set up the demo site to show him. I thought it's just a 10 minute job. Then I found out, as I have changed to a new computer, I have also installed the latest version of the development tool, and it's different from the project when I was developing it. It took me quite some time, and I haven't get to solve it yet. It shouldn't be difficult, but my mind is just blank now after attempting for two hours without success.
I guess I'll just take a break now, or escape from the work for a while, as I don't think I can continue with my blank brain now.

Would you like to take a break and have a cup of coffee or tea?

In fact I think your life is quite busy and you really need to have a break sometimes. Perhaps it is better for your children to go to school or kindergarten. As it will be a challenge to teach them all by yourselves. Besides, the children will have more friends when they are in school. And you can also have your own time.

I always do that and when I got back I have finished what was left half done.

When I think of a break, I think of going to an island, snorkelling, and just laying on the sand with my bikini on.

You need some day off or something, otherwise that stress will be gather inside and explode. It could affect your work.

Good idea to have break for a while. Sometimes, when you come back after difficulties like these, everything suddenly falls into place. I hope that is the case here.

I take a break from writing or any desk work every 20 minutes or so to keep my body moving and to relax. I do chores in between. Most of the time the break helps clear my mind and when I come back I've got fresh ideas or clearer perspective with regard to work.

It sounds like you do need a break. That will do your brain some good!! I am sure you will figure the whole thing out and get the job done. I know sometimes it is nice to take a break when you have been hard at work on something and it isn't working out the way you hoped. Once you go back after your break, you will see things in a new light. Good Luck!!
