Yesterday my husband and I were trying to figure out what to do and I suggested we go see Volta - a Cirque du Soleil show. At first he told me he didn't want to go but then changed his mind. Good thing he did because it was an interesting show. There was a bit of comedy and a lot of impressive acrobatic stuff, along with amazing music. I loved it and so did he. It was a great time! The two tickets cost me $280. That's $140 each. Seats were amazing! They were in the center and not far from the stage. I just wish they weren't so expensive. I tried finding a discount offer online but couldn't find anything that worked. Oh well. It was worth it! But so much for trying to have a low credit balance on my next credit card statement.

Thanks. I saw O in Las Vegas. And a few others here in NYC besides Volta.

The acrobats are amazing aren't they? They do their stunts night after night. It's no wonder accidents happen occasionally.

Thank you! The show wasn't perfect... One guy was doing a trick where they had to do flips through a hoop type thing and messed up, but then he did it over and got it on the second try. And it happened a few times, so I am guessing it was the same guy. And then toward the end, another guy that was doing a trick on the bicycle fell and I think he may have twisted his ankle or something because he limped off the stage. I think there were a few more mess ups throughout the show but it was still great and the people are very talented. I definitely would not be able to do what they do. These people are fearless.
