A story that would be a perfect story for an animal show on television happened overnight in Cleveland Texas.
A 11' 6" gator was blocking traffic on U S Highway 59 in Cleveland Texas which prevented any automobiles to travel to their destinations for a short while.
Cleveland Police called Chance Ward who specializes in trapping gators and taking them to another location.
Ward then drove his truck to the area where the gator was laying down in the middle of U S Highway 59.
It took Ward around 20 minutes to capture the gator and place him in his truck so he could find a new home for the gator.
The gator was named "George" for some strange reason.
The joke about George the gator is that the gator wanted to have a burger at the local Whataburger restaurant which was the business closest to the highway.

I doubt that Americans eat gators.

That would be a great idea to have George The Gator as their mascot.

That would be true since who in their right mind would tell the gator to leave the cafe or else?
