Noisy Sleeper!

I always thought when I drifted off to sleep that I would lie quietly in bed turning over occasionally to stay comfortable .. but no! Apparently I do a number of "lady snores", talk in my sleep and grind my teeth!
I was more alarmed about the snoring to be honest as I know how awful it can be. My husband was so loud I used to feel like smothering him with a pillow!
I was assured however that it wasn't continual snoring but I'm a little concerned that I might give away some of my secrets when I talk in my sleep!
Has anyone ever told you that you snore or talk aloud when you sleep?

I definitely snore, but for the most part my girlfriend says it actually comforts her. She has told me there are a few times when it gets so loud that she wants to smother me with a pillow, but those times are usually when I have a cold or my allergies are flaring up. My girlfriend talks in her sleep, and occasionally will even wake up and sleep-text.

Yes a viral infection will make me snore but I know the feeling of wanting to smother someone with a pillow! What sort of thing does she text in her sleep?

@sprite1950 She'll just start a random text conversation with someone in the middle of the night, and then in the morning have no memory whatsoever of doing so. Luckily, she hasn't texted anything that would reveal any of her innermost secrets! haha Most of her texts seem pretty normal, and actually make some kind of sense, but every now and then there will be one that makes you scratch your head. A few months ago, I woke up and had a text from her that told me to make sure I don't forget to grab the tickets to the Taylor Swift concert on my way out the door. Taylor Swift is not coming in concert and we don't have tickets to go see her! lol

@LadyDuck Aww so he doesn't wake you, that's nice.
. I used to work with someone who regularly woke his wife up in the early hours to talk about his problems. She used to come to work tired,

@sprite1950 He does not turn a lot, it is when I do not hear him turn for long time that I check if he is still sleeping. Sometimes he gets up at 4 am and go downstairs to read.

I understand what you are saying Snowdrop66. I found that I snore and I am not a good sleeper. The covers on the bed get very messed up. I can understand why my cat would not want to sleep with me.

My wife often gives me a whack through the night to stop me snoring. Although she does admit it isn't really a snore as such, just heavy breathing. I then spend ages trying to get back to sleep while listening to her snoring!! Which of course she won't believe!!

I sat next to a strange guy on a coach once. We were on our way to Germany so travelled through the night. He snored and farted all night.
