That is the Nobel Peace Prize which was started by the inventor of dynamite, Alfred Nobel back in 1895. His estate, which is worth about $197 million today, continues to accrue in its value by investing in the more safe securities.
Each year on December 10 the prize is awarded. Each winner receives a gold medal , a diploma and a legal document confirming the prize amount which is about $1.5 million.
