Nice to have some sun

The last few days, it's been pretty cloud and we've gotten quite a bit of rain. Last night, we also got some thunder. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not complaining. I will definitely take rain over snow, at this time of the year. So, it was still nice to get. However, it is nice to get some sun and have a change. It can be nice to change things up a bit. So, it's just pleasant, and I'll enjoy it.

Enjoy it, it was a long time coming this year! We've had beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures all week, I so enjoy this time of the year.

I enjoy it too. I did enjoy the sun for as long as we did. It was short-lived. It is now cloudy.

Unfortunately it isn't sunny at the moment. But we've had a lot of sunny days, which is nice.

@dodo19 Well, it does not flood as in flood, but since the pathway going out to the neighborhood is not completely cemented by the government yet, it becomes a puddle when it rains, that you have to strategize where to walk so your shoes will not get wet.

I live in Florida, I wouldn't know anything about this thing you call the sun. Can you tell me more about it? LOL Hey, are you a hockey fan at all? I'm a big hockey fan, and my team, the Tampa Bay Lightning, are doing really well in the playoffs. Do you have a favorite hockey team?

Lol. I'm not sure I can really describe the sun. It was playing hide and seek. I do enjoy watching hockey occasionally. Being from Montreal, I'm definitely a Habs fan.

@moffittjc yeah I will usually ask and make sure. I usually refer to them as the Habs. I usually hear Habs but maybe that’s just me. Yeah the Jets are doing pretty well. Since the Habs are out my husband is cheering for them.

@dodo19 I figured you probably were a Canadiens fan, but I wanted to check for sure. It's been a long time since I've heard someone refer to them as the Habs! Is that what most people in Montreal refer to them as? MyLotter Freelancer is a Winnipeg Jets fan, so I told her I would cheer for them all the way through the playoffs, unless of course they ended up playing my Lightning! lol

Don't even mention that "S" word! It's been very hot and sunny here, but today was more springlike. The forecast calls for more springlike temps, too, so that makes me happy.

I too like sunny weather than rainy weather,When it rains,we cannot go anywhere. But when it is sunny you can go out. I never go out when it rains.

It's definitely not always pleasant to go out in the rain. I will if I really have to, but that's it. It's more pleasant to do it when it's sunny.

It is lovely to have some sunshine and warm weather that is enjoyable. It looks sunny outside my lounge window. When I go out I feel a cold wind because I live a few miles from the sea.
