even bugs like to party

My tummy rumbles like a little old steam train hurtling along its track. This is unsurprising; some nasty little bugs have been having a party in my stomach causing me to spend quality time in the bathroom.
Violent vomiting? Diarrhoea? Hot/cold? Absolutely zero energy?
Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!
So my plans for a peaceful Bank Holiday Monday sitting in the sunshine didn't happen. I missed the glorious weather. I hear it was the hottest day of the year, and the hottest early May Bank Holiday Monday since records began {1978, if you were ponderous}. I spent it in bed, either asleep or watching season the third of Fear the Walking Dead. Other people had barbecues, trips to the seaside, adventurous days out ... Pffft.
I even took yesterday off work. I know! Me! I haven't had a day off work since January 2016, and I've only had a total of three {now five, I'm off today too} since 2012.
I think I'll be okay to go to work tomorrow. I've just had a lovely cup of tea. If the few bugs remaining in my tummy allow it to settle, I'll finish off last night's chicken soup at lunchtime. If that's allowed to digest appropriately I may have cheese on toast tonight. Yum.
Anyways, I know I'm getting better. I've made the bed, opened the bedroom curtains and not {yet} had to visit the loo for messy business. I'm even thinking of vacating the bedroom and heading to pastures new for a different view. I hear Living Room is particularly lovely at this time of year, especially if the windows are thrown open to rid the house of the smell of illness.
If you have reached the end of this long, uninspiring and incredibly uninteresting post then may the goddesses bless you muchly.

@Poppylicious , that is fine, some medication under the supervision of a medical expert can make you better faster! Thanks ! All the best!

@AKRao24 It's really difficult to see a GP here, unless you just turn up on a first in, first seen open surgery basis, but I don't fancy potentially two hours in a waiting room, passing on my germs!

hope you feel better soon. No problem with bugs partying as long as they find a venue that doesn't cause disruption for the neighbours such as the stomach - your title made me think of the old Burl Ives song

@Poppylicious When I eat something I should not I always has this problem.
Today is a holiday here (Ascension Day), I like a relaxed day, no noise and no people around.

1978 was when the May Day Bank Holiday became a Bank Holiday. I'm sure there have been far warmer May the sevenths before!
