A Good Day

With yesterday's Bad Night post, I thought I would let you know that it turned out to be a good day, despite all the aches and pains. I finished the book I was working on, at least I caught up with where I left off, so now, I can work on getting it completed.
I didn't know what to expect when I did the research for Guns of War, but I found a lot of unexpected information. Now, I just need to make what I found make sense in the book. I think I finally accomplished that. We'll see when I go back and start the real editing process when I get ready to publish it. I still have a ways to go before it's finished. I still need to find a suitable cover for it, and I'm working on it.
I had planned to go back to bed yesterday after getting the notifications done yesterday morning, but I started on the book and that kept me busy, so my total day was from 2 AM to 9 PM and wasn't tired through the day, which when I think about it, that doesn't surprise me either. I get very little sleep when I'm in writing mode, which I am at the moment.
I did have a good night's sleep last night, so that is a good thing, and though I expected to sleep in, since I wasn't going to the pool this morning, I still got up at my usual time and got my work done here. So, with notifications finished, I'm going back to my book and see if I can move it forward to the end. It won't be done today, but if I can get a chapter finished, that will be good.

That is great you were able to accomplish as much as you did. Glad you had a better night's rest last night. We did too as we installed our new air conditioner. Just in time too because we're going to be in the 90's over the next several days.
Only plans for the weekend, rest, study for our Sunday school lessons, church and a cook out over at Mike's parents with the family Sunday afternoon. Have a blessed day

Sounds like you're going to have a great weekend. Thank you. It is a much better day, and things are moving forward.
It's good you got the A/C in when you did. I'd be finding someone to take the cover off my A/C if temps were going to be that high. We're still hovering in the 40's today and will see a little improvement over the next couple days, but not expected to hit 70 yet on Sunday.
