share your meals?

there were so many people at the laboratory and diagnostic center, so we waited awhile to be called. when it was mother's turn, the technician said the reason for the wait is because the test itself takes 45 mins to an hour (even though mother was second in line). we were so eager to have lunch that we entered the first restaurant we saw and ordered immediately. when the food came, mother said we share everything 50-50 so we can taste and evaluate everything. we transfered to a cafe for dessert. i ordered tea, bread, bar and cake. again, she insisted we have halves of each. do you taste or share each other's dishes while eating out? do you have the main meal in one place, then dessert somewhere else?

We have the whole meal in the same place. We do not share 50/50, if I order something it's because I like and often I like more of what my husband ordered. I can let him have a piece to try and he does the same.

yes, but when it's our first time sometimes there are things we like and don't like, or didn't meet our expectations

@hereandthere It may happen that something is not like you expected. This is why my husband tastes what I order and I taste what he ordered, but here people do not have the habit to split.

We do it in the lunchroom. We eat together, ranks and posts not considered and if someone wishes to share something that's always liked by one and all!

I am very flexible. I could either do 1/2 1/2 or that I could do a main meal then dessert somewhere.

When we go to new places, we sometimes share 50/50 so we can order more items and spilt to try other stuff. But if its a place we know and we like the food, we'd order our own.

i ordered beef, chicken and pork because i wasn't sure which one mother will like, also because it's both our first time there. i'm glad i did because we both noticed the chicken and pork were good, but not the beef and the yellow rice.

Yes, I always share mine with hubby if what we ordered are those packed deals or served on a platter. If we find it lacking we order again the viand we find most delicious. That way, we get to taste more foods.

When we eat out, we each order what we want, because it's what looks best to us at the time. We used share a bite of each other's meal. Sometimes we share an appetizer if it's large. I don't care for desserts, but have a taste of my husband's if it's appealing to me. We always have our entire meals in one place. Sometimes, if we go out for pizza, we go next door for Italian pastries, Italian ices, or to an ice cream shop.

When I go out with my wife, we do split the dishes when they are different. . Nowadays, I avoid dessert or buy and have them at home - siva

I love to order food like that where everyone gets something different then we all share everything. It makes eating a lot more fun. I also like to occasionally just go for desert and do the same. My husband hates ordering and eating like this. He says I ordered what I wanted, you order what you want. Needless to say this has sometimes created a bit of an issue but nothing serious.

I usually order what I want in the same place but I seldom eat a dessert. I let hubby tastes my food as he would order different food but when I am with Pinays, we usually share each other's food. A menu is too much for a person to eat.
