Have you ever taken a leisurely walk through the woods and come across a path you have never seen before? What would you do if you did? The path wasn't there yesterday, you know it wasn't. You had walked in this same part of the woods for years. Where did it come from? How did it get here over night? Would you follow this path or would you pass it on by? Would you wonder where the path led or just put it out of your mind? I think I would follow the path just to see what was at the end. My curiosity wouldn't let me just keep on walking. You never know, it might be something great at the other end, or it might not, but what do you have to lose by finding out? It's the old story of do you take a chance or do you just let chance pass you by. You never now where a path in life will lead you. Isn't it worth it to take a chance and find out?

I would definitely take that path. My curiosity wouldn't let me rest until I found out where it led. Love that picture. It would be a great book cover.

It depends on which woods and if I was alone or not. I got lost with my husband in our woods our first time out. It was very scary! Metaphorically speaking, I would take the less chosen path. My life attests to that. Lol!

I'm the adventurous type so I'll likely follow the path.

@HazySue a better alternative though would be to create a new path of my own.

I'm always looking for new paths to take, so I would definitely be one who would take a chance and go down a newly discovered path to see where it leads.

@HazySue Some of the best adventures in life are when we leave the beaten path and forge a new trail somewhere. It can be both exciting and scary at the same time, but at the end of the day it is worth it!

@HazySue But you kind of have an idea, so it's not scary. My friend Donna and I took am unfamiliar skinny path off of a familiar trail and found pretty little waterfalls in a small stream near the path.

It does sound like fun doesn't it. I like new paths because you don't now what there is at the end.

I would probably follow the path too. But then you'd get to where it takes a bend and I'd need to go on the next bend, and the next...... and I might never get home again.

I would love to watk on that trail in the photo it looks so pretty there. The heat we get here wouldn't be that great for walking my feet would be burning up in no time. I always wear close toed shoes when walking outdoors, we have so many kinds of stickers around here.

@HazySue I never liked being in the woods, and I have plenty behind my house I use to go in as a kid to collect golf balls, to get free rounds of mini golf at the gold course.

I would take the path. Too bad many of our paths in life aren't as clearly marked as a path through the woods.

Isn't that the truth. If you don't follow the unknown path at least every now and then, you may never find the ened of your rainbow.
