I love to eat and enjoy variety. I wrote about chocolates, fruits and snacks and now about soups. I am not much of a soup eater but my favourite is the Chinese sweet corn and chicken or crab soup. I make it myself and there is a huge difference between what we get to eat at restaurants and when it is done at home. One needs to search for chicken in soups that one gets to eat at restaurants but my soup has lots of it. Oh no!! I do not have sweet corn in the house. Will order it right away

Neither do I but if I make it then it will be this soup; I read somewhere about chicken feet soup being good for our joints. I was in it for sometime but got fed up.

I used to always order sweet corn and crabmeat soup but then I found a couple bits of shell so now I mostly choose sweet corn and chicken soup. I think it is my favourite soup.

My daughter made that soup (from the can ) a few nights ago. I pinched some. Tasted wonderful (especially when we pinched from someone else's .)

Home made is so much more abundant in good things. When we eat out it is more or less for convenience, but most of us will admit that homemade tastes much better and satisfies more.

I heard people saying chicken soup and paya soup tastes good. Being Veggie I never tastes it. I have tried Sweet corn and tomato soups we get in hotels.

I like ramen noodles soup. I add sliced Spam, green onions to my y soup. I sometimes have a side dish of french fries with my ramen soup. I like to make soups with mustard cabbage, white radish with a shitake mushrooms & soy sauce with a fish bullion. I like to add seaweed for extra flavor in my veggie soup. If I have mustard cabbage or Shanghai cabbage I'd add it to my ramen soup too.

@allknowing When on sale cheap too. 2/.69 so your meal is only .35 or .34! Add your own favorites like scrambled eggs, greens whatever you'd like to eat with your noodle soup for a hearty meal. Great for winter meals served hot... easy to make... just add boiling water & let stand for 3 min. or if you like softer noodles let it cook for 3 more min.

Soup is good in cold weather. I like chicken and corn, and I also have a wonderful fish chowder recipe that I haven't used for a while. With winter closing in here, I must dig it out again.
