Garden Update: Hahahahahah!

I've been laughing so hard that I'm crying. So after it was pointed out that it likely isn't corn, I had left them grow. I mean what harm was it, when nothing else was growing right? While hoping and praying its corn. So I took a picture and did a reverse image on it: milkweed. I also double checked in a garden group and they confirm milkweed. So, apparently, now I have quite a few rows of neatly planted milkweed. Its at least okay to keep growing since its great for humming birds and butterflies we have in the area. Its just kinda really sad its not corn. :( luckily, we have a huge spot of land left that is just brown. So after talking it over with hubby.. we will get more seeds and TRY AGAIN! In the meantime, there is this patch of green where I planted watermelon. Its not watermelon is it? or is it? hahaha How is your garden going? I think all my seeds got legs and walked in different directions to go to my neighbors gardens!

I'll link you to information on uses for it. I really want to garden but I am really not good at it. Good luck to you. Hey, if it is a watermelon, mind shipping one to me?
Milkweed can be supplemental your health, but it can also be dangerous when consumed incorrectly. Discover more about this herb and how you can benefit from it.

I am happy because for the past four to five days, I have not water the plants because of the rain. Also my peppers have flowers.

Sometimes gardens just don't do what you think they should. Better luck next time.

@Daelii "Um, Ma'am, with all due respect, may I ask why you are farming milkweed?" He doesn't laugh until he gets home.

Can humans eat the milkweed leaves? I have a few green edible plants on my balcony and inside the apartment and I have been munching on them for the last couple of weeks. I love eating stevia leaves.

I don't think so! I've been reading where people make themselves real sick by not doing the cooking process right

@Daelii Yes, some plants are not safe to eat raw. We must know well what we put into our mouths.

We are just hoping the heat won't destroy the gardens early this year! Are you attracting butterflies?

We have a ton of butterflies, birds, and wildlife. The property is near / along a number of farms and nature reserves. So its not unusual to see butterflies, humming birds, cardinal, deer ( they love the apple trees) every day. Also have squirrels and occasionally bears.

That does happen and especially if it is windy. It is so hot here already I am not spending as much time as I want to as I need a shower every 1/2 hour. One thing I am clean.
